WorkFlow

Get organized and increase your productivity.

Helping individuals and small businesses work more efficiently.

The challenges facing individuals and teams looking to start a sustainable business can be made more formidable if administrative organization is lacking. To provide individuals with systems to maximize their organizational efforts and start-up businesses with a good foundation, ODWC is re-establishing the Small Business Center with a focus on the digital workplace and workflow.

Since this initiative is open to individuals as well as small businesses, we’ve changed the name from Small Business Center and Training to WorkFlow.

This is where you’ll find information and resources to help you organize your workflow to maximize efficiency, productivity, and your bottom line.

We get it. You hate administrative work.

The WorkFlow Initiative

Phase 1 Capacity Building Through Improved Digital Workflow and Implementation

This program, geared towards our Board and Staff, is designed to help each member develop practical skills with the administrative apps that our organization relies on. A suite of affordable tools was carefully selected and implemented into the ODWC workflow. However, the Board needed to move beyond an awareness of the tools, and develop practical skills through experience in order to improve communication and productivity. The approach and execution of this project will provide us with ample information as we endeavor to extend consultation, strategic workflow and administrative planning, and training classes to the community – and beyond.

One Dozen Who Care, Inc. is grateful for the funding provided by Western North Carolina Bridge Foundation and is excited about the opportunity to help individuals and businesses in a meaningful way.

Phase 2: Digital Workflow and Administrative Planning and Training

Phase 2 will involve applying the WorkFlow blueprint and principles to a local small business. Before implementing solutions, we will begin with a consultation to evaluate how the current practices influence the company’s productivity and bottom line. The evaluation will tell exactly what is needed to improve the workflow. Whether it is a need for better tools, or a need to learn how to use existing tools better, a comprehensive plan involving implementation, training and evaluation will follow. The evaluation is critical as it will help us improve the services that we will provide to the larger public.

We are very excited about this development and look forward to providing consulting and training services to entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout our region.
